Whales Only

A 200-kilometre tour through the most important protected coastal area in Argentina. The itinerary includes a visit to the Istmo Ameghino Interpretation Centre, with viewpoints overlooking both gulfs and the peninsula’s geography. We continue to Puerto Pirámides, the natural port where whale-watching boat tours operate from June to December. Along the route, observe guanacos, rheas, maras and sheep. Depending on the season, we visit the sea lion colony at Punta Pirámide or watch whales from the shore at El Doradillo. Guides in Spanish and English. Mostly paved roads.
